HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

The month of February, the keeper of Valentines Day, will get off to a rather rocky start with Mars, the God of War, standing in partile opposition with Venus, the Goddess of Love, over the skies in Washington,  D.C.  Mars will be retrograde at this time, making matters even more difficult to deal with.  A powerful opposition like this may have long reaching influence, and could affect our affairs for most of the month.  Relationship matters always suffer when these two planets stand in opposition to each other, it is as if they are going to war with each other.  This will occur along the Pisces/Virgo axis, so don't expect along of strong face to face confrontations.  Problems will be more subtle, and trouble will come from unexpected quarters, at unexpected times.  The actual causes of trouble will be hidden, but we will be able to see the consequences quite clearly.  Its just that no one will be really sure what lies behind all the contention.  Forewarned is forearmed as they say, so don't be surprised or disappointed if your love plans do not work out the way you hoped they would.  Venus in Pisces is very dreamy and feminine.   She is exhalted there, and quite strong.  She desires to melt into her partner, a merging of the souls.  Mars in Virgo, however, does not crave melting into something that may not fit his vision of perfection.  Hypercritical to the point of being cruel.  Mars in this position will pick apart atom by atom everything that Venus attempts to create or establish.  So, this would not be the time to push relationships into new territory.  Just enjoy the times you spend with you partner.  You can iron out differences when the planets are more apt to aid you rather than hinder you.  And speaking of planets that provide hindrance, lets take a look at cold, miserly Saturn.

Saturn is the last planet you would look at for matters concerning love and relationship, but the fact is that this stern giant is passing through the sign of Libra, who rules love and relationship.  He acts more the gentleman here that anywhere else, but the fact still remains that he restricts her, and does not let her perform at her best.  It is like having your Father looking over your shoulder, judging your every move.  She becomes paranoid, and afraid to act according to her true nature.  Saturn will be turning retrograde on the 7th, and 29 degrees of Libra.  What a heavy burden we will feel!  Stones thrown upon our path, delay and frustration will be the keywords for these days!  Our brothers and sisters with a strong Libra influence in their charts will feel this most strongly.  Saturn will station and turn direct again at the end of June, and then its the great rush out of Libra and into Scorpio for this mighty giant.  What a relief for those peace loving Librans in our midst.  Those under that peaceful sign will have earned the right to some peace and tranquility.  Another piece of positive news for Libra, and those with heavy Libra influences in their charts is that Saturn in your sign will be in trine with Neptune in Aquarious for the whole month.  This will certainly help to turn our romantic dreams into reality.  Is Libra searching for a soul mate?  Lift your head, he or she just may be standing right in front of you! 

More good news, Jupiter in Taurus is still in trine to Pluto in Capricorn, and will remain that way all month.   This is sure to bring many of us good luck and blessing.  This would be a great time to plan the start of a new job or business venture.  Just wait to finalize and make concrete those plans until after April 13, when Mars turns direct once again.  In the meantime, you will have plenty of time to plan and organize.

So, make a wish !  After the 4th of February would be best.  Seek out your love, and hold them close.  Make that wish together......its better that way !
